After teaching ESY (Extended School Year), otherwise known as special education summer school, I am more appreciative than ever for the paraprofessionals that I have had the opportunity to work with.
This year we were handed a very challenging group. Five out of the seven of our students were attending due to their behaviors and social skills needs. Somedays, we left with bruises and scratches. I would not have survived if it were not for the two amazing paraprofessionals that I got a chance to work with.
I was so grateful for their support, that I decided they needed something special!
I was browsing on Amazon and came across these super cute Paraprofessional Survival Kit bags. So, I decided I would add some essentials to the bag and make them each a survival kit, because I literally wouldn't have survived teaching summer school this year without them.
Things I included in the Paraprofessional Survival Kits:
Erasers
Pens
Notepad
Gum
Sanitizer
Hershey Kisses
Snickers
Lifesavers
I also added a few super cute paraprofessional stickers to each bag. Click the title for the link to the 64pc. sticker collection!
Gift Cards:
I also included a gas station gift card and a coffee gift card!
Paraprofessional Survival Kit Insert:
I usually print the inserts 1/4 the size. Click below to access the doc for the insert.
